Can you please confirm that the petrol station will be located on Link road and not on the highway and please explain the logic behind placing a petrol station directly opposite a pre-school?

The planning application for the Woolworths development was decided quite a while ago, prior to the new council was elected. Now doesn't mean that the new council would have refused the application, clearly this was a big issue for the residents in seville with as many supporting as there was opposing the development.

I have had many talks with concerned residents, business owners and community groups over the planned development and the location of the service station. I can confirm that the service will be located on Link road. I can't explain the logic, as i am neither a planner or developer, the development has been through a comprehensive consult and planning decision making process and this has been the final design.
